Essay of violence and nonviolence
Violence and nonviolence have in common that both want to change the point of view of the others to whom these actions affect. The differences that separate them are several, but they can be summarized in an alone idea: The way to change people’s point of view can vary depending on the person or persons who do the action.
I will mention a couple of situations of violence and nonviolence. The first one is about violence, “when a person one hits another on the tennis court, person two gets back at him by shoving him”. If the person two, choose the option of return the shove, the conflict will never end.
The second one is about nonviolence, “Person two doesn’t return Person one’s punch, but Person two says Person one: Why you find good hit people who are different?”. If the Person1 decides talk with the other, maybe the conflict will end. After to have listened the two examples, What do you think about it? Sure you are thinking that the acts of Person1 and Person2 were very bad. But if we reflex, we will realize that the great part don’t wonder the Why of this conflicts.
Finally I will end the essay saying a sentence by Pearl S. Buck that could be a big help if we follow it: “ Many people loses the small happiness while they are waiting the big happiness”. I hope that the next time the thoughts of people have changed…for better.
